Cynthia Rallis

Senior Associate Consultant (US)

 

Cynthia Rallis joined the Indianapolis Museum of Art (IMA)  as Chief Development Officer on January 1, 2011. Prior to joining the IMA, she was director of development for the National Museum of Science and Industry (NMSI) in London from 2005 to 2009. In the US, Rallis has served as director of development for the Cleveland Museum of Art, deputy director at the UCLA Hammer Museum, and manager of administration for the Getty Education Institute for the Arts in Los Angeles.  Earlier in her career she worked in commercial banking for over seven years.

 

As Chief Development Officer, Rallis oversees all fundraising activities for the Museum, including major gifts, Council annual support, general membership, affiliate membership groups, grants and corporate partnerships, and donor relations.  In her current role, Rallis also leads the Museum’s efforts to plan and launch a comprehensive, multi-year campaign.

 

Cynthia holds a bachelor’s degree from Smith College, a Master of Business Administration from the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA, and a master’s degree in the history of art from the Courtauld Institute of Art, University of London.
