Senior Associate Consultant - Fundraising and Leadership

 

Helen is an experienced senior fundraising consultant, and executive and non-executive director with considerable expertise in developing not for profit relationship fundraising strategies.

 

Over the last 25 years, Helen has worked for major charities including the NSPPC's 'Full Stop' campaign, Age UK, and the British Heart Foundation's 'Mending Broken Hearts' campaign. She specialises in raising major gifts (from £5,000 to £1 million plus) from individuals, charitable trusts, companies and institutions. Helen's consultancy also covers interim management, training and coaching, leading fundraising teams and engaging with other senior stakeholders to rapidly grow charitable income.

 

Helen's skills include establishing strong external senior volunteer networks for peer-to-peer fundraising, influencing multiple and complex stakeholder groups, and achieving buy-in to income generation strategies. She also coaches and builds collegial teams, manages budgets and controls reputational risk.

 

Helen is able to inspire high-value prospects and donors, while working with the charity's leadership team, to secure major gifts. She has personally set up and managed Fundraising Boards to achieve high-level networking and access to contacts, and to support the gift solicitation process.

 

Previously, Helen supported the implementation of new business strategies for ICT companies, Fujitsu and Sema Group, in the City of London and across Europe.
